IKEA Hack of Hemnes Bedside Locker
Step 1: Lay out all the pieces of your hemnes bedside cabinet from IKEA
Step 2: Mark off the area you do not want to paint with masking tape to achieve the dipped look.
Step 3: Prime the furniture, I used Colourtrends Prime 1 Acrylic
Step 4: Once the primer is dry, paint two coats of your chosen colour. I chose Holly Blue by Colortrend in Eggshell.1 litre is €22
Step 6: Whilst waiting for the furniture to dry, I used the drawer base as a template to cut out a drawer liner in a blue and white fabric.
Step 7: Once dry, assemble the pieces and remove masking tape.
Step 9: Add your accessories
