Here’s a look at Pantones Spring 2014 colours and some ideas on how we can introduce them into our Interiors. Today I’m looking at some of my favourites and how to add them to your bedroom decor.
What do I think of the colours….I love them…there is so much variety and so many different Interior Design styles to be achieved by mixing these colours. Firstly we have two brilliant neutrals;- Paloma Grey and Sand…for those of you that like neutral backgrounds for a calming Interior then these are perfect. I’d imagine that they will be the backdrop for many bedrooms throughout 2014.
Pantone Paloma 16-0000
Pantone Sand 15-1225
Another of my favoutite colours is Pantones Placid blue which is perfect for a calm bedroom
Pantone Placid Blue 15-3920
If your a lover on colour then you might like to opt for a jewelled look with the use of dazzling blue, Comfrey or Magenta Purple
Pantone Comfrey 18-6216
Pantone Magenta Purple 19-2428
For a refeching, uplifting bedrrom you could opt for zesty Fressia. However you may find it difficult to sleep with such an active colour so consider using it in moderation….This colour looks great with Paloma Grey.
Pantone Fressia 14-0852
The beautiful Cayenne colour is another fabulous colour and can be used as the primary colour or as accent. Try mixing this with Paloma grey or Sand…fabulous
Pantone Cayenne 18-1651
We will still find a lot of pastel colours in our Interiors which are perfect for bedrooms. Try experimenting with Pantone Hemloch which would look fab with many of the Spring 2014 colours.
Pantone Hemloch 13-6114
However I’m assuming that ‘Radiant Orchid’ as Pantones colour of the Year 2014 will definitely have an impact on our bedroom interiors, especially when themed with Paloma Grey.
